He was predeceased by: his parents, Octaviano Hernandez and Maria Teresa Hernandez; and his siblings, Octaviano Hernandez, Jr., Frank Hernandez, Elizabeth Hernandez, Bertha Hernandez and JoAnn Robles.
He is survived by: his daughters, Norma Hernandez and Nicolasa Hernandez; the mother of his children Eva Hernandez; his granddaughters, Samantha and Terri Saldana; and his sisters, Lydia Eguia (Joe), Rosa Alderete (late Tony), Elida Cuellar, Terri Hernandez and Irma Hernandez (John).
