He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignacio Bermea and Jesusita Bermea; his daughter Luveena Bermea; and his siblings, Elvira B. Gallegos, Juanita B. Romero, Atanasia B. Carrillo, Elisa B. Gonzales, Gilberto Bermea, Sr. and Amador Bermea, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Dora Bermea; his children, Felipe Bermea, Jr. (Norma), David Bermea (Patricia), Julianna Bermea, Adelita Garcia (Danny) and Lucinda Bermea; and his siblings, Maria Elena Canales (Tom), Jesusita B. De Leon, Faustina Bermea, Ignacio Bermea, Jr. (Rose) and Evaristo Bermea, Sr. (Antonia). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
