He was predeceased by: his father Otis Herbert; and his brother Robert Fred Burrell. He is survived by: his mother Imelda Hulda Huser Burrell of D'Hanis; his children, Krystal Stukavec (John) of South Carolina, Ashley Schwedler (John) of South Carolina, Charleah Villarreal (Felipe) of Hondo and Shawn Whitley of New Braunfels; his brothers, Dennis Burrell (Billie Ann) of D'Hanis, Spencer Burrell (Charlyn) of D'Hanis and Kenneth Burrell (Maripat) of Arizona; his sister-in-law Cindy Burrell of D'Hanis; and the mother of his children Jerri Whitley. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Guinn-Horger Chapel (2006 Ave M, Hondo, TX 78861-2442). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
