He was predeceased by: his wife Roseann Govea. He is survived by: his parents, Jesus Govea and Paula Diaz Govea; his children, Ramon Baltazar Govea (Briana) of Austin and Marisela Govea (Rodrigo Tavera) of D'Hanis; his grandchildren, Luis, Yael, Axel, Alexha and Rodrigo Jr.; and his sisters, Crispina Govea, Lucia Govea, Rocio Govea (Margarito), Zaleta Govea (Tito Nuñez) and Martha Perez (Manuel).
