It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aubrey Leakey Carter (D'Hanis, Texas), born in Uvalde, Texas, who passed away on July 26, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Carter and Corynne Miles Carter; and his siblings, Mary Jane and Archie. He is survived by: his wife Linda Nester; his children, Angela Sawyer, Jeffrey Carter (Stacie) and Tim Carter (Roxanne); his grandchildren, Dillon Sawyer, Meagan McKee (Bradley), Jacob Carter (Kiara), Anna Carter, Victoria, Collin Carter, Breanna and Rayelee Slaughter; his great grandchild Cole Leakey Carter; and his siblings, Elsie Andrews, Monroe Carter (Mary) and Maxie Carter (Carol). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
