He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Ann Woody Davis and Jewell Davis; his wife Rita Kirkland; and his brother Joe Kirkland. He is survived by: his son Bill Navarre (Lauren) of Vidor; his grandchildren, Patrick Navarre, Alan Joseph Navarre, Josie Permenter and Kori Navarre; and his siblings, David Kirkland, Lois Stevenson and Gorgie Denning (Billy Jean Arrington).
