He is survived by: his son Ryan N. Sollock (Casey); his granddaughters, Colby Elizabeth and Brooklyn Sollock; his parents, Edgar Sollock and Ethel Sollock; his wife Evelyn Marie Sollock; and his siblings, Lenwood Sollock, Reba Tate, Vivian Duke and Lovie Dunn.

“Ryan, I regret that I did not know about the passing of John Sollock until today. As I was updating my Christmas card list I wondered again about John since I had not heard from him in several years. Then I decided to try the internet and this obituary came up. John Neely was one of my husband's dearest friends from the time that he was a young teenager living nearby. We kept in touch with your parents and visited with your dad a year or so after Evelyn passed away.”
