She was predeceased by: her mother Maria Chavez; and her brother Lazaro. She is survived by: her mother Maria Martinez; her husband Roland Garcia Esquibel; her children, Jasmine, Andrew and Roland Jr.; and her grandchildren, Caleb John Gutierrez, Mia Averi and Andrew Ezekiel Esquibel.
