He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon DeLeon and Guadalupe DeLeon; his daughter Gloria Flores; and his brothers, Pedro DeLeon and Macario DeLeon.
He is survived by: his wife Nora DeLeon; his sons, Joel DeLeon (Yesenia), Albert DeLeon (Anna) and Ruben DeLeon; and his siblings, Felix DeLeon (Mary), Genaro DeLeon (Janie), Ramiro DeLeon, Dolores Cardenas (Joe), Flora DeLeon and Ester DeLeon. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hondo Funeral Home (2910 Avenue E, Hondo, TX 78861). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Yancey Cemetery (9523 462 S South, Yancey, TX 78886).
