He is survived by: his siblings, Clyde DuBose, Roy DuBose, Marcus DuBose, Arthur Burl DuBose and Roberta Brooks; his wife Evelyn (Bendele); his son Darrell W. DuBose II (Tinker); his wife Debbie; his daughters, Janice DuBose and Pamala Shoemake (Ron); his sister Vida Kempf; his grandchildren, Ashley Coyle (Derek), Derek Shoemake, Jenny Keogh, Mindy Newman (Justin), David W. DuBose III, Samantha Barber (Coy), Ross R. Shoemake (Brandy), Darrell W. DuBose III (Skeeter) and Kayla DuBose; his great grandchildren, Emma, Hannah, Derek J. (Tooter), Duke, Zoey, Taylor, Brayden, Kade and Logan; and also, David W. DuBose (Belinda) and Don W. DuBose.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to the Devine Volunteer Fire Department.
