She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Herring and Thelma Herring (Miller); and her brothers, Frank Herring and Jim Herring. She is survived by: her husband Harvey Newell Summerlin, Sr. of Devine; her sons, Newell Summerlin (Kristi) of Devine and Giles Summerlin (Cheryl) of Horseshoe Bay; her siblings, John Herring of Devine and Frances Anderson of Tyler; her grandchildren, Ainsley Summerlin Kelly (Tyler), Tres Summerlin, Stephanie Saathoff, Keeton Summerlin Coleman (Kyle), Sadie Summerlin, Nathan Hilliard and Lexie Summerlin; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon Kelly, Haven Kelly and Kolt Coleman.
