She was predeceased by: her parents, Lon Gholson and Lula Gholson; her husband Arthur Gentry; and her brothers, Roy William Gholson (Novella), Robert Gholson (Vel Marie) and E. D. Gholson.
She is survived by: her sons, Franklin (Debbie Gentry), Gordon (Marilyn Gentry) and Gene Gholson Gentry (Renee); her brother Albert Gholson (Marie); her sister-in-law Anita Gholson; and her grandchild Sixteen. She is also survived by Sixteen Great-Grandchildren and One Great-Great-Grandchild.
