She was predeceased by: her mother Valentina Lopez Torres; her former husband Jose Martin Mata; and her sister Guadalupe T. Carrillo. She is survived by: her husband Jesus Ascencion; her children, Angelica Brackeen (Bobby), Robert Torres Mata, Veronica Mata (Jose Ramos) and Jesse Mata (Monica); and her siblings, Florentino Jr., Esuebio Gonzales, Vicente Torres, Juan Torres and Jose Torres. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
