She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Hughey and Fay Forehand Hughey; her brother Franklin "Cotton" Hughey; her son David; and her grandsons, Dean Whiteaker and Brady Whiteaker.
She is survived by: her brother Pete Hughey (Donna) of Weir; her children, Donnie (Elizabeth) of Georgetown, Dickie (Karen) of Rockdale and Dena Whiteaker Foster of Jarrell; her daughter-in-law Bonnie Whiteaker of Georgetown; and her grandchildren, Mark Whiteaker (Nancy), Lee Whiteaker (Renee), Weston Whiteaker (Jessica), Brandon Whiteaker (Priscilla), Justin Foster (Britney), Dusti Foster Stafford (Clint) and Lacey Foster Hatley (Dusty). She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
