She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Herchek and Elizabeth Kovacs Herchek; her husband John Allen Higgins; her children, Sharon Lyons and Johnny Higgins; and her sisters, Margaret Herchek and Elizabeth Ann Fedor.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Higgins, Elizabeth "Rose" Rich, Kathleen Higgins and David Higgins. She is also survived by her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her nieces and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends will.
Mary's talent for crocheting was not just a hobby but a way to express her love and generosity, as she shared her beautiful creations with others and donated to her church.
