She was predeceased by: her daughter Mindy; her brother Charles Merritt (Bud); and her parents, Susie Foster and Robert Merritt. She is survived by: her husband Russell Whitley; her children, Trasia Whitley, Dalhia, David Bryan, Chris and Anna Whitley; her sister Kathy Sanders; her sister-in-law Fredda Merritt; and her sister Gracie Farris. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews, 7 grandchildren, & 11 great grandchildren.
