He was predeceased by: his parents, John Albert and Amanda Clementine Ellis Dean; his wife Mary Mozelle Dean; and his siblings, Melba Ruth Dean Pickens and John Robert Dean.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Dean (Beckie), Lynette Dotson, Kelley Dean (James Hall) and Garrel Dean (Christy); his grandchildren, Jason Dean, Johnny Dean, Cassie Dean, Weston Miller, Dakota Miller, Justin Salter, Caleb Salter, Nathan Salter, Joey Dean, Amanda Dean, Cydney Dean and Chase Dickson; his great grandchildren, Jordyn, Brooklyn and Addisyn Dean; and his grandchildren, Lale, Karas Dean, Ezra and Ella Miller.
