Allen, Lee Ola Johnson Chaffin, Ola Lee Shaw, Ruby Adams and Minnie Willoughby; and his nephew Royjohn Couts.
He is survived by: his son Ethan Bateman of Bonham, TX; his siblings, Michael Couts of Honey Grove, TX, Edna Couts of Detroit, TX and Tara Couts Bradley; his nieces and nephews, Brandon Couts (Euneke), Xavier Couts, Noah J. Couts, Cameron Bradley, Michael Bateman (Jessica), Lance Bateman, Jonathan Warren, Shearlena Duty, Gabrielle Couts, Jasmine Bateman and Kaylee Bateman; his aunts, Claudetta Couts and Beulah Perkins; his uncle James Chaffin; and also Grace Swain.
