It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buddy Cogburn of Detroit, Texas, born in Stuart, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 15, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loney C. Cogburn and Mary Olivia Cogburn; his wife Esther Ann; and his siblings, Lucille Ingram (Tom) and Gene (Pat).
He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Lynn Nestor (David) of Albuquerque; his grandchildren, Tammy Montgomery (Ben), Matthew Nestor, Heather, Logan Brown, Damian Nestor and Jason Stanton; his daughter Linda Sue Bennett (Mark) of McCune; his grandson Adam Ray (Katrina); his great grandchildren, Hunter and Ethan; his grandson Jacob Allen (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Reese, Cainen and Isley; and his siblings, Ben (Clara) of Detroit, Texas, Johnny (Sharon) and Mary Kasinger (Steve) of Murphy. He is also survived by two children, 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
