She was predeceased by: her parents, Ada Hicks Wright and George W. Wright; her husband Elmer Junior Phifer; her son Jerry Phifer; her granddaughters, Joy Rowton and Clarissa Phifer; her siblings, John Wright, Tommy Smith and Lois Rife; and her son-in-law Archie Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Moore of Blossom, Thomas Phifer of Detroit and Bobby Phifer (Marsha) of Detroit; her grandchildren, David Rowton (Autumn), Clint Moore (Sarah), Rachael Moore (Carla Harp), Kelly Newberry, Cody Phifer (Miriam), Colby Phifer, Blaine Phifer, Lee Phifer and Jeremy Phifer (Ashley); and her sisters, Mary Crouch, Sarah Higdon and Donna Adams. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
