With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yolanda Yvette Mattox (Desoto, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 55. She was predeceased by: her father James Valrie. She is survived by: her children, Laquita Mattox, Antanette Cox and Willie Bradford; her mother Myrtle Mattox; her grandsons, Dareon Bradford and Amias Bradford; and her siblings, Sheretta Morris Aguirre, Hyyawatha Autry, Lashonda Martin, Akkemma Mattox Andre Valrie (Brothers), Rosheba Fennell and Bruce Tillman Jr..

Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eternal-Rest-Funeral-Home-DeSoto (1400 N Hampton Rd, DeSoto, TX 75115). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Mountain Creek Cemetery (2099 Hardy Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75051).
