He was predeceased by: his parents, Zella Bickford (Culbreath) and Aulton Bickford; his wife Margie Bickford (White) of Hubbard; his son Paul Bickford; and his brother Aulton Bickford, Jr..

He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Parmley of DeSoto, Joanna Laster of Arlington and Crystal Head of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and his sister Shirley Bickford of St. Rose, Louisiana. He is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.
