He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Slaughter and Mable Slaughter; his siblings, Willie, Velma and Alice; and his grandson Dominic "Nico".
He is survived by: the mother of his children Judy; his children, Sherrye (Anthony), Cartney (Desha), Chasidi "Moochie" and Jacquelyn; his grandchildren, Jaleesa, Skiler, Zarreia, Courtney, Cassidy, Devyn, Bailey, Jaxon, Braxton, Jameson, Endiya, Camryn, Elianna, Dominique, Madisyn, London, D'Arra, Logan and Zy'Aire; and his sister Linda Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sacred Funeral Home (1395 N Hwy 67, Cedar Hill, TX 75104). A wake was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greater Community First Baptist Church (2828 W Camp Wisdom Rd, Dallas, TX 75228). A burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the Lincoln Memorial Park (8100 Fireside Dr, Dallas, TX 75217).
