She was predeceased by: her parents, J. B. McKinney and Liddie Lue McKinney; her husband Horace Frye, Sr.; her sister Cora Lee Brooks; and her brother-in-law Henry Earl Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Branch, Jr., Rhonda Branch Yearby (Monroe), Latanya Branch, Loring Branch (Allycin), Jeanette Carr and Horace Frye, Jr. (Sharon); and her sisters, Dorothy "Tootie" Thompson and Liddie "Whinkie" Spencer (John). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Black and Clark Funeral Home (2517 E Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75216).
Her contributions to the medical field were vast, and she was deeply respected by her colleagues and patients alike.
