He was predeceased by: his parents, James Houston Ripley, Jr. and Tommie Tyre Turner Ripley; his grandparents, Lonnie and Mattie Turner; and his granddaughter Stormee Light.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Doolin (Doolin); his daughter Renee; his son-in-law John Walker of Klondike; his son Randy Ripley of Commerce; his daughter-in-law Amy Ripley Lawson of Commerce; his grandsons, John Travis Walker, Jacob Walker and Shay Ripley; his extended family, Jose Mondragon and Zoyla Ortiz; his close friend Jake; and also, Victor and Jonathan.
