He is survived by: his children, Michael David, Mary Margaret, William Henry, Carolyn Ann, John Peter, Rebecca Sue and Carl Nicholas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
He donated generously to Portland University and Benedictine College in Atchison.
