He was predeceased by: his parents, Taft Owen and Amanda Burrow. He is survived by: his siblings, Bobby Owen, Ernest Owen, Martha Emerson and Peggy Sue Cooper; his wife Rhonda Owen; his children, Phillip Owen and Jacqueline Owen; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Davis, Christopher Owen, Wesley Mitchell, Jayson Owen, Amber Henderson, Haley Dawson, Lynnzee Ceballos, Kyler Dawson and Aimry Dawson. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home (705 N Locust St, Denton, TX 76201). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the Medlin Cemetery in Trophy Club (1130 Trophy Club Dr, Trophy Club, TX 76262).
