She was predeceased by: her daughter LeAnne Novacek. She is survived by: her husband Richard Barnett; her daughter Lauri Goldston (Steven); and her siblings, Sue Atkinson and Phillip Jones. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Sonia Lynn Jones Barnett, age 83, passed peacefully in her sleep June 19, 2024 after a battle with Alzheimer's.
