It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Harris Jr. (Denton, Texas), who passed away on August 4, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard A. Harris, Sr. (Dick) and Cornelia Cardwell Harris; his wife Dr. Joneel J. Harris; his children, Richard A. Harris, III (Rick) of Denton and Dr. Lisa Jo Harris of Frisco; his grandsons, Alec Harris, Dale Harris and Cole Harris; his brother Robert W. Harris (Deborah); and his cousin Mary Louise Harris of Denton. He was also cherished by many other extended family members and friends.
