Carter of Denton, Texas, born in Midland, Arkansas, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Elizabeth McConnell (Ratliff) and Fred McConnell; her husband Willie "Bill" Farris Carter; her daughter Tina Minette Johnson (Carter); and her siblings, Marion Dunn, JB, Wilford, Ernie and Little Bill McConnell.
She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Carter (Melinda), Scott Carter and Shawn Carter (Lisa); her extended family Jimmy Cross (Sandra); and her siblings, Polly Martin, Linda Clark, Fred, Mike and Rod McConnell. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
