She was predeceased by: her parents, James Welk and Clara Baldridge; her husband James; and her siblings-in-law, Herb McCurley and Betty Brown.

She is survived by: her sons, Roger McCurley (Candice) of Northlake, Larry McCurley (Pam) of Corinth, Randy McCurley (Jane) and Edgar Fowler (Judy) of Krum; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Davis (Vicki) of Kaufman, Freddie McCurley (Kay) of Rockwall and Claudine McCurley of Denton. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
