He is survived by: his children, Mario Alvarez, Jr. of Denton, Priscilla Alvarez of Haskell and Domingo Gonzalez of Lewisville; and his siblings, Rosa Alvarez, Guadalupe Alvarez, Alberto Alvarez, Alvino Alvarez and Roy Alvarez. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
