He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nena Garrett Barthold; his son Lawrence Rodney Barthold, Jr.; his parents, Marjorie Wanda Knox and Herbert Clarence Barthold; his sister Mamye Kathleen Barthold; his brother-in-law Fermin Trevino; his wife Bonnie Clardy Barthold; his daughter-in-law Kathy Gambrell Barthold; his daughters, Linda Barthold Gillespie (Brian) and Angela Barthold Estes (Cliff); his sisters, Susan Barthold Dodd (Denney) and Jane Barthold Trevino; his grandchildren, Bryan Barthold, Brooke Barthold George, Lisa Gillespie, Jamie Gillespie Martin, Shawn Gillespie, Paige Gillespie, Ally Clardy Buckminster, Casey Clardy Scott, Ben Herd, Katelyn Herd Crowell, Bonnie Beshero Mondragon and James Beshero; and also, Mary Clardy Beshero, Dean Clardy (Tanya) and Melanie Clardy Herd (Dennis).
