He was predeceased by: his parents, Reynaldo S. Cantú, and Maria Cantú, Sr.; his wife Barbara Cantú; and his daughter Librada "Lily" Cantú. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Tavis of Olympia, Washington, Kathleen Reichel (Keith Reichel) of Valley View, Texas, Mariana Cantú of Albuquerque, Isaac Lewis (Aurora Arellano) of Denton, Texas and Andrew Lewis (Julia Richason) of Denton, Texas; and his brother Reynaldo Cantú, Jr. of Rancho Viejo. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
The family requests donations be made to Rocky Road Refuge in Muenster, TX in lieu of flowers.
