He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Dewey McCoy and Daisy Vera McCoy; and his siblings, Frances Mae Blum, Tommy Joe McCoy, Ruby Faye Fiesler, JP McCoy, Marion McCoy and Ethel Jewel Parks.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Fay McCoy; his children, Gwinna Pedigo (Scott) and Jerry McCoy Jr. (Trisha Kincaid); his brother Robert Gene McCoy (Donna); and his grandchildren, Gabby, Weston, Karli and Jovie. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
