It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janette Sams Gleaton of Denton, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on May 17, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Alexander and Effie Olivia Gallop Sams; her husband Robert; her grandchildren, Michelle, Sean and Ben; her sister Annette; and her nephew Shane.
She is survived by: her children, Lynda McBurnett (Sam) of Aubrey, Robert E. (Susan) of Gainesville, Dickey R. (Gloria) of Southmayd and Terry W. (Lora) of Gainesville; her sister Jean Rogers of Houston; and her nieces, Raymie Walls (Craig) of Colorado and Melissa Dempster (Bill) of Whitewright. She is also survived by extended family, as well as many friends.
