He was predeceased by: his parents, Lain Erwin and Bessie Erwin (Charles); and his siblings, Charles, Imalain, Anna Gene, Mary, Bob, Reese and Donnye.

He is survived by: his children, David Erwin (Lisa) and Denise Sales (Don). He is also survived by Several grandchildren and great grandchildren, one sister, and three brothers.
