She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Nelson and Marguerite Nelson; and her brother James Gremmels. She is survived by: her children, Jill Tollefson of Dallas and Jack Tollefson (Robin) of Lafayette; her grandson John Tollefson (Jessica) of Anna; and her children, Emma and Jaiden. She is also survived by her three nephews.
