He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmor Kyle Owens (Elma Land Owens) and Cooper Creek East of Denton. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hastings; his stepson Michael Hastings of Marble Falls; his daughters, Martha Lynn Hunt of Atlanta and Monica Brooks (Mike Brooks); and also, Bill and Helen. He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
