She was predeceased by: her parents, Inez Eggleston and Wesley C. Eggleston; and her husband Jim. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Alan Everly (Robin) and Jennifer Stitz; her brothers, Wesley H. Eggleston (Ann) and Elvin Eggleston (Erin); her grandchildren, David Everly (Mariam), Jacob Everly and Bailey Stitz; and her great grandchild Henry Everly.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gateway United Baptist Church (2401 N Bell Ave, Denton, TX 76209). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Park (3801 Roselawn Dr, Denton, TX 76207).
