Charles Ray Holbert Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 83, Charles Ray Holbert of Denton, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. L. Holbert and Ruby Holbert; his sister Nelda; and his siblings-in-law, Al Hovden, Georgia and Ollie Whittern.
He is survived by: his children-in-law, Paul Hamilton and Stacie Holbert; his grandchildren, Ashley, Josh, Emily, Autumn (Jake), Grant, Jess, Grayson and Vivian; his great grandchildren, Sam and Eli; his nieces, Kim, Sara, Libby, Amy and Susan; and his nephew Mike.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Oakmont Country Club (1901 Oakmont Dr, Corinth, TX 76210).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to the Denton Public School Foundation , as the family is planning to dedicate a scholarship in his honor, as all his children and grandchildren are graduates from the school district. Additionally, donations can be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
