Though Carol Jane may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Whitson, and Ceci Whitson, Jr. (Monroe); and her husband Charles Stroud. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Stroud (Deanna) of Thomas and Clarence Stroud (Shannon Beier) of Denton; and her siblings, Lynn Carrico (Deanie Willis) of Denton and Warren Whitson III (Glenda) of Aubrey. She is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
