We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2024, at the age of 77, Bill Schmitz in Denton, Texas, born in Gainesville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schmitz and Cecilia Schmitz (Wiese); his brother Paul; his sister-in-law Burnelle Schmitz; his sisters, Aileen Sandmann and Judy; his brother-in-law Dale Crabtree; and his sister Carolyn Macready.
He is survived by: his wife MunCha Schmitz of Corinth; his daughters, Shirley Schmitz Dieter (Pat) of Gainesville and Janis Marie Schmitz of Corinth; his grandchildren, Rachael Dieter, Sarah Dieter, Andrew Fryar, Matthew Schmitz and James Schmitz Marzioli; his sisters, Maxine Sandmann (Paul) of Lindsay and Pattie Hubik (Wesley) of Mesquite; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Sandmann of Lindsay and Irby Macready of Lindsay. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
