He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Keelan and Lillian Keelan (Scharpf); his son Stephen Keelan (Joyce Keelan); and his grandchildren, Emily Keelan and Jeremy Pennell.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Marie Caraway (Wendt); his children, Kim Pennell (Caraway) of Denison and William P Keelan Jr. (Elizabeth) of Sherman; and his grandchildren, Blake Almon, Hannah Almon Keelan and Dylan Keelan.
