He is survived by: his former wife Shere Avrett of Whitewright; his daughters, Krystal Avrett of Whitewright, Julie Avrett of Denison and Katherine "Amy" Hernandez (Benjamin) of San Antonio; his granddaughters, Ivory and Eleanor Stoltz; his mother Charlene Clem of Hurst; his siblings, Ray Avrett of Hurst, Cody Avrett (Mary) of Mansfield and Shannon Avrett of Whitt; and his nieces and nephews, Deven Avrett, Christian Ater, Allissa Sullivan (Justin) and Selena Lopez.
