He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jessee and Octavia Madeen Sorrell (Pruitt); his wife Anna Lee Sorrell; and his brother William Samuel Sorrell. He is survived by: his children, Thural Sorrell II (Lynn) of Colbert, Anita Strange of Colbert and Tammy Bowler (Jimmy) of Colbert; his sister-in-law ImaJean; his brother Kenneth Rauleighn Sorrell Sr. (Delores); his grandchildren, Cody, Donna, Steven, Lindsey, Danette, Michael, Tony, Regan, Stacy and Kayla; his great grandchildren, Anna, Addison, Tanner, Grace, Avrie, Ansley and Hayden; his stepgranddaughters, Tonee, Geri and JoLynn; his great grandchildren, John, Taylor, Matthew, Lee, Beau, Devon, Kyle, Jared and Numerous; and his niece Bonnie Gregory (Warren) of Atoka. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
