He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor David "Bud" and Elcie Louise Hess (Hood); his wife Lavern; and his siblings, Earline Hicks, Wannell Dobbs and Charles Hess.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey of New Orleans, Misti (Clint Mackay) of Denison and Jason (Lauren) of Denison; his brothers, Jerry Hess of Denison and Phillip Hess of Bells; and his grandchildren, Aaron Hess of Plano, Cooper, Carli Mackay of Denison, Jaxson and Mack Hess.
In lieu of flowers the family request for any memorial contributions be made in his name to Reba's Ranch House, located at 5036 Reba Drive, Denison, TX 75020.
