She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lee Nicholas and Gracie Mae Nicholas (Jones); her husband Charles Watson of Dallas; her brother Terry C. Nicholas; her siblings-in-law, Judy Nicholas (Randell) and Bob Johnson; her brothers, Jerry W. Nicholas and Peter N. Nicholas; her brothers-in-law, Roger N. Arnold and James B. Burger; her sister Vernice R. Johnson; and her brother-in-law Steven L. Mulkey.
She is survived by: her former husband John Harvey Burnett, Jr. of Bells; her daughters, Christy Marie Burnett (Riley) and Carrie A. Burnett (Dunn); her grandsons, Caleb Archer and Brock Ashton of Little Elm; her daughters, Emma Grace and Ella Hope; and her grandchild Brody Jackson of Myrtle Beach.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church in her memory.
