We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2023, at the age of 80, Saunders Freels of Denison, Texas, born in Sherman, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Saunders Freels and Margaret Stout Freels; and his brother John Arthur Freels. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Wood; his sons, Trey (Tricia) of Frisco and Andrew (Chassity) of St. Louis, Missouri.; and his grandsons, Kameron Freels, Will Freels, Hudson Freels, Drew Freels, Zach Smith and Hayden Smith.
