He is survived by: his wife Joy Bass of Denison, TX; his son Rodney Lee Bass; his son-in-law Mark Barnhill (Susan) of Kingwood, TX; his grandchildren, Reed L. Bass (Lindsey), Melissa Ewing (Gentry) and Addison Rhudy (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Mason Ewing, Easton Ewing, Emersen Bass, Mylah Bass, Raelynn Bass, Zeek Rhudy and Cora Rhudy; and his sister Rheta L. Lawson of Blue Ridge, TX..
